1. Agreement
By downloading or using SyncFit for iPhone or SyncFit for Mac (the “Apps”) or this website, you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to App Store purchases. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Apps on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by App Store rules. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Apps except as open-source components are licensed separately.
3. Free features, trial and Pro
The free tier includes the features described on the pricing page, currently manual CSV export to iCloud Drive or Files and the Today dashboard. New installs receive a time-limited trial of Pro features on iPhone. SyncFit Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks all features on iPhone and Mac for the same Apple ID. Pro is not a subscription and does not renew. Feature sets may evolve; features you have purchased will not be moved behind a new paywall.
4. Purchases and refunds
Purchases are made through Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency and may change for new purchases. Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds.
5. Your data and your destinations
You control which Apple Health data SyncFit reads and where it is sent. You are responsible for the destinations you configure, including the security of your API endpoints, databases, cloud accounts and email recipients, and for complying with any laws that apply to storing health data there. We are not a party to your agreements with those providers.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use SyncFit to access health data you are not authorised to access, to interfere with Apple Health or other services, or in violation of applicable law. Do not attempt to circumvent purchase verification.
7. Not medical advice
SyncFit exports and displays recorded data. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and should not be relied upon for medical decisions. Totals and charts are descriptive; missing readings are not zero values, and different devices can overlap. Consult a healthcare professional for medical questions.
8. Background execution and third-party services
Automations depend on background time granted by iOS and on the availability of your destinations, network and iCloud. We do not guarantee that any export runs at a specific time or that a destination accepts it. Cloud storage providers, database servers and email services are operated by third parties and may change or become unavailable.
9. Updates
We may release updates that add, change or remove features, and may require a minimum OS version. Some destinations or integrations may be introduced or withdrawn between versions.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Apps and website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data stored at destinations you control. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Apps is limited to the amount you paid for them.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Apps at any time by deleting them. We may terminate or suspend access to optional online features (such as account sign-in) if these Terms are violated. Purchased functionality that works offline remains yours.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless the consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise and cannot be waived.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change and material updates will be announced in the Apps. Questions go through the contact form.
